Results of the Port Aransas Event

It was a long week before the tournament as you all know I was up at MD Anderson getting tested to see how my body was responding to the cancer treatments, we got back to town late thursday night and then had to scramble to get things ready for the captians meeting friday night and the tournament saturday. By the time the judges gave me the numbers I was pretty much done in.
I would like to appoligize for the confusion, We have strived to make sure every anglers fish was placed in the proper division but I am human and their for sometimes make mistakes. I made a mistake on the Redfish Division it was brought to my attention and was corrected Saturday before anyone left. I did not catch the mistake made in the Trout Division, after reviewing the Judges numbers I found that James Tesh's 17.75 inch Trout had not been place in the proper place. James actually had the First Place trout for the tournament. I have spoken to James along with John Sixta and explained what happend. James will be reciving a Check for $250.00 and a framed Trout picture from Wade Butler. Because this was my error all other winners in the Trout Division will keep their prizes
